Questions Irish businesses ask

Almost certainly yes, if you use any AI at all. The Article 4 AI literacy duty has applied to every organisation using AI since 2 February 2025, and the prohibited-practices rules are already in force.

Yes. Using AI built by others makes you a deployer, and deployers carry real duties: AI literacy for staff, transparency disclosures where AI faces customers, and vendor due diligence.

No — that is the point. The classification wizard asks plain-English questions about how you use each tool, applies the Act's risk taxonomy for you, and produces your obligations with the legal basis cited.

In the EU, full stop. The database runs in Frankfurt and the application is served from EU infrastructure. Every material change is written to an append-only audit log nobody can edit or delete.
